A decent doorbell camera, but...

The battery on my Ring camera recently died. Replacing the battery was not an option.I ordered the latest Ring battery doorbell camera as a replacement.Setup was relatively easy. There are a couple of issues with this device. One, the fisheye view doesn't have the ability to permanently zoom into an area. Users can set a sensitivity area but you're stuck with a distorted view of your door. Two, the locking system. They've done away with the old torx style screws and substituted a flimsy snap in catch with an equally flimsy tool to remove the unit. Why bother securing the device at all?

Garbage

Had two ring cameras on my home and my car broken into twice, cameras didn’t pick up anything either time. I called customer support and was told to turn up my sensitivity (it’s already at max). My vehicles are also parked only feet away from the cameras. Absolute garbage product with very expensive monthly fees. Go with a competitors brand, there are plenty that do not charge a monthly fee only to not work. Oh, and you have to pay a subscription fee for EACH ring product you have on your account.
