Excellent Quality, Affordable Price!

Bought these for around our house to keep an eye on different areas. For a cheaper priced alternative to units such as Arlo, Nest and Eufy, Blink delivers amazing, crisp, clear quality! Videos are able to be watched through the Blink App, and the two way microphone function is amazing as well! I’m glad I opted for Blink. I’ve had Arlo before and I loved the look of them because they look more professional than Blink, but the quality did not compare to that of Blink. I highly recommend!

This is what I have always wanted. Easy, professional and dependable.

Changed over from a wired security system to this battery operated Blink 8 camera setup. It is really fantastic because it was easy to install, the app is very functional and deep for the price point and average home user. I am a picky guy and hard to impress but I really like to see all 8 cameras on the app and can customize each camera features. The cost per year would be about $190 ($150 subscription + $40 batteries over of 2 years average). No longer have to deal with complicated hard drives storage that are always problematic for me. The audio two way function is also impressive.Easy to use, powerful and piece on mind now, especially when I travel.

Great video quality. Good price on sale.

This new generation is significantly better than the previous version I owned. I upgraded when they went on sale at a very good price. Sharpness and colour are much better. They have been very reliable so far and are still on their first set of batteries. Nice security for my home at a very attractive price. Wait till they're on sale which happens several times a year. Recommended!

OK but not good enough for me

I want to give this 2.5 stars but not an option. The best thing I can say about these cameras is: The packaging is awesome. I truly appreciate a well thought out box. However, I think Blink should have spent more time getting their cameras to actually work in the situation they were meant for than in the package they arrive in.Problem 1 - delayed recording or no recording at all. The whole experience was frustrating. Times when I know there was activity, nothing. No video, nothing. Other times when it actually picked up activity, the video started about 3 seconds after the activity occurred so the person was gone or it only picked up their pack. Honestly inexplicable. Adjust the sensitivity (from 6 to 9) and then it recorded everything, wind blowing the trees, etc. No happy medium at all.Problem 2 - no internal storage. I think this is why we have problem 1. They delay must be related to the wifi needing connection before it can record. With internal memory, this wouldn't be a problem.Problem 3 - a subscription service? Really? I buy your camera so that you can sign me up to your subscription service? I get it from a business perspective but as a consumer, I hate it. If you want me to subscribe then give me your cameras. Don't charge a fairly hefty price and then expect me to pay every month for the privilege of having to upload my videos to your server so I can watch them later. It s an ok set up, and certainly easy to set up, if you aren't serious about your surveillance but otherwise, I would look elsewhere. For the novice only.
